A nice unit number often brings pride to a unit. Below are many of the one piece fully embroidered unit numbers that I have helped design and some included the FOUNDERs strip as a cut off. Historically, the color bar at the top means:
- Silver — 25-49 years
- Gold — 50-74 years &
- Maroon — 75 and more years
