A nicely designed patch for a special activity is a great reminder of the activity. It is also a nice way to show off what you have accomplished by sewing it to a hat, shirt, jacket, backpack, or even a blanket.
As a long time scouter, I have a great collection of patches for the many events I have attended and the many activities I have completed. And whenever I was in charge of the event, I wanted to have a patch that others would appreciate. As a result of having to create my own designs, I have gained a new hobby and I now am glad to help others while providing great customer service.
The following patches are ones that I have been requested to help design. Click on any of the small images to see both my original design and the final patch (click anywhere a second time and the window will close). If you are interested in having a patch designed, please contact me from my contact page for assistance. (I can't respond unless you do).
If you are looking for a some quality square knots, Trained patches, SS World Crests, etc. shown on the Patch Blanket, you can use knotOrder.xls to let me know. The order form gets updated often so don't send an old order form and expect me to have the same knots and patches (updated 4/25/15).
A number of people have asked for suggestions of colors for unit numbers. I have the following suggestions of which many were the traditional historic colors:
Type of unit
Color of top bar
dark green with gold numbers (first type were dark green with brown numbers)
