A nicely designed patch for a special activity is a great reminder of the activity. It is also a nice way to show off what you have accomplished by sewing it to a hat, shirt, jacket, backpack, or even a blanket.

As a long time scouter, I have a great collection of patches for the many events I have attended and the many activities I have completed. And whenever I was in charge of the event, I wanted to have a patch that others would appreciate. As a result of having to create my own designs, I have gained a new hobby and I now am glad to help others.

The following patches are ones that I have been requested to help design. A number of people have asked for suggestions of colors for unit numbers. I have the following suggestions of which many were the traditional historic colors:

Pack	0 - 24	nothing or blue with gold lettering	red with white numbers
Troop	0 - 24	nothing or bronze	tan with green numbers

All units	25 - 49	silver (traditional thru the 1980's)	tan or red
All units	50 - 74	gold (traditional thru the 1980's)	tan or red
All units	75 -	dark red (still used for 75 & 100)	tan or red
