Preparation and On-Site

All IST will be required to take a course called "Safe from Harm" and obtain a certificate for passing the course.  It can be accessed at www.safefromharm.se.  It does not work well with Internet Explorer, so if that is all you have, install something like safari or firefox to take it.

Restaurants will be open at the jamboree site as of 20 July.  Therefore, you can arrive any time after that date if so inclined.

Jamboree has been increased from 32,000 to 40,000 people.  This has opened up additional IST spots.

IST will be placed in "patrols" of 6-8 persons with a Swedish IST as patrol leader.  IST patrols will have some special activities of their own.  If you can come up with a good patrol name and bring stuff for the patrol to give them an identity, it might work well.

Activities will run from 1000 to 2100 daily.  Most programs will be open to IST (if you aren't working, of course).

This site map is an early map of the jamboree site.  This was from before the site was expanded to 40,000, so a lot of stuff will move around.  However, note that IST camping is next to the parking and by the HQ on the road into the site.
